Ajinomoto Duck Dumpling Gyoza is Japanese style Dumpling with rich duck and vegetable filling and soft dough on the outside.

 How to cook

Ajinomoto Duck Gyoza are easy and quick to cook. For best results both fry and steam.

Place a medium sized, lidded non-stick frying pan on a high heat. Add some oil (we find that groundnut oil works best but any neutrally flavoured oil works well) to the hot pan then place your Duck Dumpling carefully into the pan and fry for between 1 – 2 minutes until the base of each Duck Dumpling turns golden brown.

Carefully add enough water to cover the base of the pan (take care not to pour water around each Duck Dumpling, not directly onto them), reduce the heat, put the lid on the pan and steam for 4 until the water has evaporated and the base of each Gyoza has become crispy again. Serve immediately, with the base of each Gyoza facing upwards to ensure they remain crisp.
